Tudor’s releases of 2024 were nice, if not overly impressive, with the highlights including a METAS-certified Black Bay 58 GMT and a monochrome overhaul to the Black Bay 41mm range. Now, in the year where Rolex has finally unveiled an entirely new collection with an integrated bracelet, Tudor has actually bucked all trends by emphasising bigger cases and tougher specifications. There are some tasty new dials for fan-favourite collections as well, but it’s certainly going to be an interesting year of divergence between Tudor and its big brother. While there’s no Big Block (yet), we got at least one of the predictions right…Tudor Pelagos UltraThe Tudor Pelagos Ultra is a huge upgrade to the Pelagos collection, now with 1,000m of water resistance.On a bracelet or rubber strap, its 43mm titanium case balances toughness with comfort, while the dial increases legibility with bolder lume.The MT5612-U has a 65-hour power reserve and is METAS certified. Price: A$8,840.Read more about the Tudor Pelagos Ultra here.Tudor Black Bay 68The new BB68 METAS-certified diver boasts a blue and silver dial and black aluminium bezel.It pays homage to the first year Tudor's Submariner got the Snowflake hands in 1968, but now in a 43mm size.Spec-wise, it's consistent with the rest of the Black Bay range, with 200 metres of water-resistance and a Kenissi MT5601-U movement. Price: A$6,990.Read more about the Tudor Black Bay 68 here.Tudor Black Bay 58 BurgundyThe ever-loved Tudor Black Bay 58 is now available with a burgundy dial and bezel.The dial is sunburst, bringing a much more vibrant look to the watch, which is usually more retro.It’s available with a five-link or three-link bracelet with Tudor’s T-fit clasp, as well as a rubber strap.Read more about the Tudor Black Bay 58 Burgundy here.Tudor Black Bay Pro OpalineThe icy and sporty Tudor Black Bay Pro offers a new white opaline dial for optimal legibility bined with the steel bezel, its bright colouring makes it a much more summery option, including the bright yellow of the GMT hand.In a 39mm steel case, the MT5652 has a 70-hour power reserve with COSC certification. Price: A$6,060 (fabric/leather), A$6,540 (bracelet).Tudor Black Bay ChronoThe Tudor Black Bay Chrono remains unchanged, but it is now also available on the new five-link or three-link bracelet.The new bracelet adds a much dressier dimension, but it is more expensive than the three-link model.The calibre MT5813 also offers a 70-hour power reserve with COSC certification.
