In a recent Instagram post, Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg shared a photo with his arm around his wife, Priscilla Chan, with a glimpse of a watch case and crown peeking in from the side. The eagle-eyed watch community was straight on this, and while Zuck confirmed it in the comments of his own post, a few had already surmised that it was the new Patek Philippe ref. 5236P perpetual calendar – we were first put onto this by preeminent watch-spotter Niccoloy. Of course, here having the Calatrava cross on the crown is a pretty big giveaway as to which brand we’re dealing with, but it takes someone with an intimate knowledge of the Patek catalogue to identify that reference from such a small, and grainy image. Now we just need to find out what else, if anything Mark has in his collection, and how far down the rabbit hole will he go?
