Atelier brings this artistry to life, combining miniature painting, enamelling, and guillochage. The challenge of translating Monet's large works onto a small surface required exceptional skill, including 14 layers of enamel and multiple firings to achieve depth, texture, and color.The Grand Canal, Venice captures a mesmerizing afternoon view with a striking sense of depth and movement. The church of Santa Maria della Salute appears to float on the water, with its architectural details softened by the hazy light. Reproducing this masterpiece on the case back took nearly 70 hours of expert enameling. The dial's wavy hand-guilloch pattern, which required eight hours of precise craftsmanship, mirrors the water's reflections in Monet's painting.
