A striking feature is the flying minute tourbillon at 6 o'clock, designed to counteract gravity's effects on accuracy. The tourbillon consists of 56 parts and weighs just 0.663 grams, with components treated using Diamond Shell? technology. The Big Pilot's Watch 43 Tourbillon Le Petit Prince is powered by the IWC-manufactured 82905 calibre, an automatic movement with a Pellaton winding system, and a power reserve of 80 hours. The rotor, visible through the sapphire glass case back, is made of solid 18-carat gold and shaped like The Little Prince on his asteroid, paying tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupry's famous novel. Best watch I've ever gotten, it looks really good. Only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the luminous hands aren't really luminous. So it's a bit hard to see in the dark. The bracelet also gets scratched kind of easily. Still a great watch though!
