The Tudor Black Bay GMT is now available with an opaline white dial.Paired with the Snowflake hand set, it makes for a refreshing look.The blue and burgundy bezel looks more vibrant in contrast.Although last year's Watches & Wonders held thunderous announcements for Tudor's GMT fans thanks to the Black Bay Pro and the Black Bay GMT S&G, the love hasn't stopped coming for the much loved four-hander. People who have previously passed on the Tudor Black Bay GMT due to its contrasting white date wheel can also now rejoice, as the watch has now been released with an opaline white dial.The use of a white dial definitely has polar connotations with most watches from the Shield as well as the Crown, and although there's no direct link to arctic exploration with the Black Bay GMT it definitely feels like a breath of fresh, chilly air. When paired with the white of the luminous hour markers and Snowflake hands, you're left with a negative display of outlines that is supremely legible without sacrificing an ounce of style. The matte blue and burgundy bezel insert is made from anodised aluminium as in prior releases, but here those colours are made to look a lot more vibrant and summery in contrast to the white dial.The 41mm steel case has been the subject of much debate over the years, however the 14.5mm thickness and 50.2mm lug-to-lug length should be easily wearable if you're used to full-size divers, regardless of the iconic slab sides. The 22mm lug width does lend itself to strap experimentation, but the riveted stainless steel bracelet is such a great and complimentary fit for the watch that you might not want to take it off.
