Hamilton is one of the most loved brands out there. Even if you're not particularly into the watches, the company’s ethos, quality, and affordability just wins people over. But part of Hamilton's charm is that its catalogue is familiar and comforting, so brand new models are an exceedingly rare treat. In that spirit, Hamilton releases throughout 2024 have mostly been collection expansions, embracing new materials, sizes, and movements. There is one major exception though, and you probably spotted something similar on the silver screen. Here are our favourite Hamilton watches of 2024.Hamilton Khaki Field QuartzThe Khaki Field collection is Hamilton’s most accessible collection thanks to its strong military aesthetic that has stood the test of time. But while its popularity is significantly based on its affordable line of mechanical movements, it’s just become even more affordable thanks to quartz. Available in 38mm and 33mm sizes with a few different dial options, this is sure to become an essential backbone of Hamilton’s range which will see more expansion in the future. Being quartz powered, they’ll also be more reliable in the long run than a mechanical movement, and closer to the durable spirit of adventure watches. Price: US$395, available from the T+T ShopHamilton PSR 74I don't think the Hamilton PSR's success could really have been anticipated, as recreating the world's first LED watch from 1970 is such a niche idea. It doesn't even show the time unless you push a button, how is that convenient? And yet, it's one of Hamilton's best selling models. Well, the PSR's perfect blend of retro romance and solid craftsmanship has been given a smaller and funkier sequel. The Hamilton PSR 74 isn't just a shrunken version of the PSR, but rather a reissue of the Pulsar Cushion from 1974. The 30.9mm width, 25.6mm length and 12.4mm thickness is a welcome change for those who found the original model too bulky, and it also has a second button available for showing the date. What changes the look from the PSR to the PSR 74 most is actually the bracelet, with a single Y-link construction that tapers quickly around the wrist. It strips away almost all contemporary influences and wholeheartedly embraces the 70s nostalgia. It's also available in yellow gold PVD, which really ramps up the gaudiness. Despite the size difference, it still maintains a swimmable 100m water resistance, which is always great to see. Price: US$745, available from the T+T ShopHamilton Khaki Field Murph 38mmThe Hamilton Khaki Field Murph has become such a fan-favourite design that its popularity nearly eclipses that of the movie which inspired it,?Interstellar. If you want proof of that, you need only look to the new white dial and bracelet configurations of the Murph 38mm. Already being shrunk to a more versatile size than the one which featured in the film, the Murph’s mix of old-world sensibilities and rugged charm continues being tweaked to perfection.Adding a stainless steel bracelet as an option for the Hamilton Khaki Field Murph 38mm was a bit of a no-brainer, as bracelets can elevate the look of any watch as well as being more comfortable in certain situations. The ability to buy one with a white dial is much more of a bold decision, as it radically changes the watch’s personality. The faux-aged lume is still present for its creamy touches, but the crispness of the black printing against the matte white dial seems to take the Murph into a more professional realm. Retaining 100m of water resistance also makes the bracelet model swimmable right out of the box, which wasn’t the case with a leather strap. Price: US$895 (leather strap), US$945 (bracelet), available from the Time+Tide ShopHamilton Khaki Field Titanium Engineered Garments Limited EditionAlthough it's common to see Hamilton collaborating with film productions, we don't often see the brand working with apparel companies. Engineered Garments is a clothing brand founded in New York City by Daiki Suzuki, focusing on clothing that feels effortlessly stylish and simplistic without being strictly minimal. That style has been reflected through the lens of the Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Engineered Garments Limited Edition with subtle, but powerful changes. The 24-hour scale has been scrapped to give the dial more space to breathe, and ultimately that increases its legibility. The black dial has very soft sunburst brushing to give it some dimension when your wrist moves, and its outer perimeter is brushed concentrically for a contrasting texture. That also helps the minute track to stand out more, and read with the sharp tip of the minute hand.Being just 36mm in diameter and made from titanium, the Khaki Field Titanium Engineered Garments Limited Edition wears like a dream. It's compact, lightweight, and the titanium bracelet gives it a rugged durability without sacrificing those qualities. Every surface of the case is brushed to hone in on the tool watch aesthetic, one that it can back up with 100 metres of water resistance, a sapphire crystal, and the automatic H-10 movement with 80 hours of power reserve. If you view the movement through the half-exhibition caseback, you'll also see the Engineered Garments branding and its limited edition status of 1,999 pieces, which was the founding year of the company. It's sold out now, but you can check out other titanium variants of the Khaki Field in the Time+Tide Shop. Price: US$1,145Hamilton Ventura XXL Bright Dune Limited Edition and Ventura Edge Dune Limited EditionHamilton has been associated with Hollywood for the better part of a century, and no other brand can touch its record of official film collaborations. But while the Khaki Field Murph from Interstellar is the best-known model to come out of a film, Hamilton has made some truly wild ones in recent years. Hamilton's design team was consulted in production of a wristwatch-adjacent device for Dune: Part Two, but that prop isn't actually what's for sale. Instead, it released two limited edition Venturas that were directly inspired by that creative process. The Ventura XXL Bright Dune Limited Edition is still an analogue watch with hour, minute, and seconds hands, even if it looks straight out of science fiction. The case is made from stainless steel with a black PVD coating, and a black rubber strap darkens the watch further. All of that black makes the blue piping on the dial stand out further, especially when it's light up feature is activated, indulging in a neon glow. Powered by a quartz movement, the XXL sizing is no joke at 46.6mm in diameter, 52mm lug-to-lug but just 11.8mm thick. It's limited to 3,000 pieces, but we’ve still got a few left in the T+T Shop. Price: US$1,750, available from the T+T ShopThe Hamilton Ventura Edge Dune Limited Edition is much closer to the movie prop version, with the case earning much harsher facets and a three-dimensional dial. The sculpted black backdrop is practically ready for a film set, and its LED display gives off a haunting digital glow, whether it’s backlit or not. It's rare to see a watch with so much distinctive personality from a big name brand like Hamilton, and it's cool to see them being made not as plastic toys, but out of steel and sapphire. This watch is a whopping 47.2mm across and 51mm lug-to-lug, and 13.8mm thick. It's limited to 2,000 pieces, and while Time+Tide's allocation has sold out, they're still available through Hamilton's website. Price: US$2,500
