The strap is made of alligator leather, enhancing the watch's sophisticated look. The Reine de Naples 8925 Valentine's Day Edition is powered by the 586/1 self-winding movement, housed in a 33mm egg-shaped case. This movement comprises 180 parts, has a 38-hour power reserve, and operates at a frequency of 3 Hz. It features a silicon balance spring, known for its resistance to corrosion and magnetic fields, thus improving precision. The white gold case has a sapphire-crystal back, revealing a platinum oscillating weight with C?tes de Genve decoration.Historically, the Reine de Naples collection is linked to Caroline Murat, Napoleon Bonaparte's sister, who in 1810 commissioned Abraham-Louis Breguet to create the world's first wristwatch. Hello,
I've had this watch for just over a week now. As Glenn mentioned in his review, I don't have much hair either and the resin band does somehow manage to snag me and can be quite uncomfortable. Hence, I tend to either put up with this or have to keep it cinched up snugly around my arm to prevent this from happening.
Setting up the timezone was quite easy as was inputting my home city lattitude and longitude for sunrise/sunset information.
It is a good looking, lightweight rugged watch and the solar recharging is excellent. As far as the accuracy of the time, its equal to that of the time signal that AT&T sends out for its mobile devices (or my Bold 9700 at least).
If you want a rugged, slim, lightweight watch, I highly recommend this watch to you.
