BASE METAL - Not plated - Even the Warranty warns it will tarnish & not covered if it does - READ the warranty - it is only on the watch mechanization. Guess the old saying too good to be true rears it's ugly head once again!

the sublime star watch is very pretty and the fit is excellent since I have a wrist. My only complaint is that the screw on the watch to turn the dials is hard to use to set the time.It works but takes a little patience.
