You know those calm-headed people who are inherently non-judgemental? Things got very emotive, very quickly and opinions tended to be strong.Some people genuinely loved the new watch.Yet there was also a fair amount of what I’d like to call “healthy criticism” but was really more akin to a torrent of savage indignation. In short, a lot of people really didn’t like it.Understandably, the release was also met with world-weary scepticism that many of the 170 pieces of this limited-edition watch would quickly end up on the secondary market being flipped to turn a fast buck.In fact, this became the dominant sentiment so quickly that the game quickly changed to speculating how much the watch would fetch on the grey market.It would be nice to be able to write off such rumblings as the handiwork of the jealous and the jaded. Except that, in fact, the predictions didn’t go far enough. At the time of writing, the watch in question is already being offered here for sale on Jomashop.
